REMINGTON
Javier and Mario are two friends who share a passion for writing, despite the considerable age difference between them. Through an exchange of letters and texts written in recent years, we learn about the place literature has in their lives and, in particular, their relationship.
Magali Caballero Méndez (Ecatepec, State of Mexico, 1992). Multidisciplinary creator, intercultural manager and Master in Studies on cultural diversity and social spaces. She lives in Chiapas, where studied Documentary Film at the Documentary Film School of San Cristóbal de las Casas. 'Remington' is her first short film.
'Remington' is a short film dedicated to friendship and creative writing, and the way in which they can become deeply intertwined and touch the boundaries between reality and fiction in Javier and Mario, beyond their age difference. It is a dialogue between inhabited spaces and words as a support for imagination and expression.
